CIRCULAR

 

          Ministry of Economic Affairs,

Government of Pakistan has invited applications for admission to B.Sc.

Engineering and Doctor of Pharmacy (D. Pharmacy) programmes offered by public

sector institutions of higher education in Pakistan for the Academic Session 2026-27.

 

2.       All applications, duly completed in all

respect, must be submitted to the Ministry of Economic Affairs no later than 15

July 2026. The minimum education qualification for admissions are as follows:

least 60% marks in HSSC or equivalent from Inter Board Coordination

Commission (IBCC)

Pharmacy

3.       The general conditions are as under:

i.        Must

be recommended by the respective government / embassy.

ii.

      Seats for foreign students are

available in the institutions across Pakistan. Placement of students in

institutions shall be determined by the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MoEA) on

the basis of merits, students’ preference and availability of seats. Moreover,

institutions are not bound to entertain the students after expiry of their

prescribed deadline.

iii.

     Final admission of candidates shall

be subject to the eligibility criteria and admission requirement by the

institutions concerned.

iv.

     Eligibility of students in terms of

equivalence of certificates and grades will be determined by IBCC, Islamabad.

Concerned Embassies / students are required to submit their equivalence

certificates issued by IBCC, Islamabad along with their application forms, no

application will be considered without Equivalency Certificate. Applicants are

advised to consult the official guidance for obtaining the IBCC online

v.

      The students admitted under PTAP

will be required to pay the prescribed fee applicable under the Program to the

institution concerned. Expenses on traveling, boarding & lodging etc. are

also to be borne by students themselves.

 

vi.

     Migration from one institute to

another shall be governed by the relevant policy of the institutions concerned.

vii.

    Any concession or exemption in tuition

fee and other charges shall be subject to the policies of the respective

institutions.

 

4.       The prescribed application form may be

downloaded from the Ministry of Economic Affairs website (www.ead.gov.pk).

The application form should preferably be typed and submitted in quadruplicate

along with attested copies of the following documents:

a.

      Academic certificates and

transcripts / mark sheets of HSSC / or equivalent qualification

b.       Recent

photograph passport size (4 copies)

c.       Copy

of applicant’s passport; and

d.       Equivalence

Certificate issued by IBCC Islamabad.

 

5.       Interested applicants are advised to send

their complete applications, as per above details, to Mr. Ghulam Mustafa,
